zBrown, just be glad you got a boot out of it.

FakeBoot page comments on your foto (I borrowed) suggest you STFU & Be Happy.

"The fake boot resoler is not your enemy, he is the enemy of the American people."--DFT even tweeted (the fake president)

LGBT = "Let's Glue Boots Together"

Genuine CC photo. Nothing fake aboot it.

The New List
An ad hoc effort, like Pratt's famous topo book, only more up-to-date.

All were once retweeted by Vanilla Ice, then deleted their tweets.

THE DECADE THAT GOT DELETED
(We Are Great Once More)

Dreams are fleeting,
Sheep are bleating,
While wolves are eating,
Everyone's cheating.

I could rhyme deleting
But that would be repeating
What was said by Stephen Keating
About the crappy seating

In Valhalla on Judgement Day.

The heroes were on trial for their honor:
Say the wrong things you're a goner.
"No words, just actions,' said Hizzoner.
Say, Lynn's halo looks good on her.

Now-old moms and even older dads,
Some of whom were college grads,
Soon came to live in old C4,
First by the few, then by the score.

The scene was over:
No more clover.
Dissing, fistfights,
Calling names;
Bolting wars,
Real stupid games.

And we're lost in the eighties again....

Barn Dog on Holiday

He smelled the ocean air
No one stopped to stare
Or run uninvited fingers through his course and salty hair

He was alone
With memories of a favorite bone
Running free among the waves and no bothersome vet cone

He loved his masters voice
He shook with grace and poise
But a solo holiday was now and then the wisest choice

Like Lou always said from the reeds down by the river, six of one, half dozen of the other. Lou didn't even play sax did he?

Some fool actually posted that Paris Texas performance, twice, claiming it was "probably" a duplicate. Thought he'd just slide it past us.

Which reminds me that I've not heard back from LostInShanghai.

See how that works?

Clinically,
Mental tag for the aging,
Simple. Effective.

I listen & wait
Then put my thought on paper
Creating haiku.

See how easy and effortless it all is?

Writing "Taking apart another's photo and 'finding' something else in it is like writing a screenplay based on a previously-written work," would be unworthy of me, the host of the Quiz Show About Fingers.

But if I was to write, "Tha's coolio, Gnome. I'm all tongue-tied & complimented here," then that would be like over-doing it, making it sound like an acceptance speech.

What should I do,
My wise & hip friend?

...two feet are now tapping compulsively to the music of Beau Soleil on un beau soleil, now that I've had a brief mouse-nap and am anticipating a visit from the Two Tuolumnites, known to most as Lenna & The Chauffeur, who's also known as Ed.

A vicious cancer has been consuming lennypenny's old school chum and they are to pay her a visit here and collect me sometime after for a Drive-In Social, also known as California Tea-Time by some wags, at the Old In & Out, which is the only red-light operation in this town.

"They screw you at the drive-thru."--some Famous Star

zBrown, Harry's cancion was reminiscent of Grandpa's guitar session.
The photos in the Beau Soleil vid were reminiscent of a few parties up in Camp 4.

We have a close friend, one of only a few who just today called to
say they took out a full centimeters' worth of a lobe and it was . . .
Fvk cancer !

Also and just as depressing is one of my old loves turning up just tell me she's dying.

HVP, contracted, no doubt, when she was Randy and run in' about.
(it was sweet of her to say, she regrets it to this day) what do you say?

there was a guy she could not say no to of
American Indian descent, he was fyNFvnKCOMo tion
(that's so weird - I'm going to have to load it to see what it plays, added at the bottom!)

he would stalk us on dates and she would steal off with him before the end of the night.
I once saw him flinging her on the floor on a boat . . . It was a ' Blues Cruise, featuring
Hot Tuna,

Marguerite, said that that was when,
she is sure she got the virus then.

We both remember
A'now decades latter
eventful night

It was a sad phone call.
Tears me up, . . . . . . and she let me fall. . .

Don't ask me nuthin' about Camp 4, but the sharp eyed viewer on the hunt for the king of beers (Regal) might notice Danos' at about 3:35 in the Cajun tune back a ways.

I saw BeauSoleil at the Roxy in L.A. Not sure of their history so I don't know if it was the same cast of characters.

Mr. O warranted the two shoe treatment.

Where there is Regal beer there are rest rooms, especially in Raceland LA.

There's a telephone handy, too. Don't see that now, but rarely.

"The woman was not the one for you, Gnome," is my comment.

Regrets are sweet, but useless and for the weak - we are all weak, regrettably, as all of us have regrets simply because no one is perfect and usually appreciate a do-over.

Some regret having the regrets.

They are the truly weak and will die off, according to Prof. Braun, the leg-pulling specialist.

Or mutate into some other type of human.

So the caravan has moved on, leaving me with a satisfied hamburger smile.

A Double-Double Rainbow of a Smile.

Had a good time with Lenna & Ed. Went to the walk-in at I & O. Saw some things, had me a Dr. Pepper, then came home.

I stopped in at the Cinema to pick up a Reuben sandwich to go for dinner later, probably much later - double-double and three, not one, Dr. Pepper - refills don't cost.

As advertised, it is a beautiful but crispy-cold day, like an apple out of the icebox cold. Invigorating. And you only notice it, really, when you come in out of it.
There is only a trace of snow up on the ridge now. Ed has measured the precip daily since June and claims over 84" have fallen there.
It is roughly the elevation of YV.
You know how crowded I&O gets at lunch. Today wasn't any different. Tables were filled, but a lady with two kids offered their table. She did like her burger, though.
If you go to the drive-thru, you don't get the benefits of the after-meal walk.
We sat at an outside table and talked a bit more, then got back into the nice, warm sun-room-on-wheels, and returned to Middle Earth.
As to her friend, she's on morphine and Lenna cannot say if Susan's able to recognize her, as she was sleeping, sort of. They were going back by the facility to visit again.

Then home by dark.
