in some sort of weird, it was on this day in 1979, after having been sick sick over Christmas that Marion went to be relived. 1/12/79
was the day Marion M Morrison was found to be suffering from terminal cancer. He was John Wayne and gutted it out, half-ing his stomach took out. It took nine hours to remove and he only found out two days later when he woke up.

The cafe is packing them in. Saturday was almost as crowded by eager well-wishers as it was on Mother's Day, their busiest of the year.
As yet, no useful alternate locations have been found, unfortunately.
