I'm back in country, as it were. The strange land of normal.
Hospital released me around three pm. Vern picked me up. We hit the Raley's Rx counter to pick up my meds...Eliquis now, no more Warfarin and all the blood draws.
I still need to see my regular doc tomorrow to go over some other changes.
After the pharmacy, we went to my bank. As I stood in line, three folks ahead of me, I looked down at my feet and between them lay a folded up $100 bill. I took Vern and Dawn to a sushi place near here on that windfall.
I may look at some new shoes tomorrow, as Dawn tossed mine! I can't smell my own feet, apparently, or shoes, more to the point. I have not worn socks in ages. Not since the pair neebee knitted me separated. Well, first one got a hole in it, then it's mate went missing. (broad hint, take it or leave it, neebee)
Bullwinkle knows...
I probably should buy new socks tomorrow, too. Hygiene, so important people spend tons on it. I should break down and "normalize," it seems, at least in that respect.
Big Wallmart, here I come!

Huzzahs, hosannas, and the odd ho-mans (ho-men?) are all kosher, fine & dandy, and awright by me.

The reason I'm back instead of counting sheep...been looking at FB.
If you know Gene Foley from BITD in Camp 4 or elsewhere, here is a painting he did like 25 years ago.
It's so fine, it's ART with all-caps.

Andy, your sharing that is very cool. I like the part about the projector.
As a musician, you train yourself to listen in a different manner than we talentless no-rhythmics.

Thanks to my Flames buddy Jones for this. Youk two should get together sometime. He's a ukelelist as well as a guitarist. He knows a lot of stuff. I've always thought his intelligence was way beyond my own.
One thing I learned is that you cannot keep up with Jones. Don't even try, unless you're as talented as Andy.

Nice truckart Gene! Foley was one of my first teacher/partners on the cliffs. Cool dude, still in the city. I became a windsurfer, he became a windrider.
