Muhammad Ali and his wife, Lonnie Ali (1963, 2012). They married November 19, 1986. Mr. Ali has been married four times, which I didn't know.( What do you expect he wasn't a big basketball player.)

Dressed like Prince and shooting a hook shot?

Mr. Ali and Jim 'don't be callin' me z' Brown.

He did tell me once at Pauley that he played with these two guys, but nobody got any video.

According to Susy, whom I believe to be the Pug rescue lady, it was boom boom after all.

Witnesses told officials that the shooter had an AR-15 type of weapon.

"I was sitting in the front yard, and a bunch of gunshots went off. Boom, boom, boom, boom, boom, really loud," said Susy, who lives about five doors down.

The gunslinger returned to his condo nearby and eventually gave himself up to the SWAT team.

Sonny is dead, but Cher was not injured in the filming of this video.

It turns out to have been a brotherly spat. The condo guy who surrendered is the borther of a brother who lives in the house.

My model A that I was going to hotrod. Then I decided there were a lot of rods, not too many originals. So I sold it to a collector

Kirby couldn't dunk either, but he sure could jump.

Althea didn't make it, I wonder what happened.

I told Althea, I was feeling lost
Lacking in some direction
Althea told me upon scrutiny
That my back might need protection

I am so sad to report that the videos conspired to instill a youthful urge, that led me to go to the golf course on a sunny Sunday afternoon, fool move for sure, just look at that fool on the hill,[Click to View YouTube Video] i was able to send the thin fingers crack , a dead vertical pull ,layed back and two reaches, stick the mantel, clear that belly no flopping, people, golfers are watching.

but in my new over weight state ; 2 laps of a climb, of ten to fifteen feet was the Max,
then I added the rope and moved over to the stemming overhanging awful width,
The crack in the back of the corner, runs from easy large hands to 18 inches at the top; where one mandatory off width arm-bar /leg stuff, gains the top,

but all the trees that were the anchors have been cut down . the rope snakes into the crack , providing little to no security, other than stopping me from landing flat on my back, among the rocks, in a heap.

the thing is steep, easy to step up to and fun to wrestle with till that escape move,
I hung at that.

So there is the Garden Gnome tied to a black cord a-kimbo and dangling, with golfers putting (on the 14th they told me.)

the sad truth is that as nice as it is for photos the clear cutting has opened the climbs up to full sun and with no cover, the climbing is center stage for the golfers on the 14th green and the 15th tee.

sure enough after my roped antics , when I was stroked and not stoked, some guy watching me tentatively traverse across a grassy bulging ledge, says ;
"i don't think we have insurance for that. . ."

it is like lighting a fuse,

the wanker!

if he had seen the yoyo doink or the first steps into the crack. .
.or the ropless laps on the finger crack. . .
but as I am running across the choss?
well, . . slow burn. .

I say that this is a climb I have been visiting for ten years, and they clear cut the woods, back
in the spring, bringing the climbing into the daylight.

I see from far away that he considers himself a mucky muck,
he must be ,
it is a municipal course with a hiking trail that the rocks were on,
till this clear-cutting - which he curtly tells me was done last year.
did last year.?.[Click to View YouTube Video]
well, I see that an argument is what this putter has teed up
so I say " well I've been climbing here on the rocks at Richter,(giving them a name) for ten years,"&"ok I'm going"
, and he turns around,
my fuse is still lit, and when he arrives at the 18th there I am.
his pluck plucked, I introduce myself, and say, "the state protects the Municipal golf courses, parks, and open spaces."
if he would like I would be glad to share with him and the town the state ordinance as per rock climbing on public land.

This was my old '37. I was gonna convert it back to original, but then I figured, there were enough originals around. So, I sold it to some old flame.

Anyone having success with his/her disc drive repairs? Me too neither.

I'm going to have to take it to the shop for a complementary evaluation. I wonder if they work on car conversions.

feralfae,

There are four messages of the same sort, failed deliveries all.

The lime is in the coconut.

The rose is in the lotus.

The force is useless to intervene.

My mom's cousin tells me that she's married a man who is over twenty years younger than she! She herself just came back from "an annual ceremony of Crow Tribe Sundance in Montana where we visited a Coonrod grave marked with the medal of honor at Custer's Battlefield national monument, name Aquilla Coonrod."

1591.

May 15 – In Russia, Tsarevich Dimitri, son of the Ivan the Terrible, is found dead in mysterious circumstances, at the palace in Uglich. The official explanation is that he has cut his own throat during an epileptic seizure. Many believe he has been murdered by his rival, Boris Godunov, who becomes tsar.

May 24 – Sir John Norreys, with an expeditionary force sent by Queen Elizabeth I of England, takes the town of Guingamp after a brief siege, on behalf of Henry of Navarre.

May 30 – Timbuktu is captured by an expedition of Arma people sent by the Saadi ruler of Morocco and led by Judar Pasha.

August – Robert Devereux, Earl of Essex leads an English army in support of the Protestant Henry IV of France at the Siege of Rouen.

August–September

Maurice maneuvers cautiously against the Duke of Parma near Arnhem.

During this year's Atlantic hurricane season, probably the most severe of the pre-1600 seasons, at least eight intense hurricanes occur.

September 1 – HMS Revenge is captured by the Spanish following battle near the Azores.

September 14 – Hulst is captured by Maurice.

October 21 – Nijmegen is captured by Maurice.

October 29 – Pope Innocent IX succeeds Pope Gregory XIV as the 230th pope.
Had a blast listening to these boys last night.

Thank you Mouse.

Mouse, we have been having DDoS attacks on our server for a couple of weeks. I think it is fixed now: we had to reboot Apache, jump to a new Linux update, install an update of our firewall, and a lot of other stuff I do not understand and am just parroting from the MIT guy who is our web wizard.

If you do not mind, good sir, please try sending them again. I will watch for them to arrive. Thank you.

I am sorry for the inconvenience, but obviously, there are poltergeists running around loose here on the taco. I see they found zB as well. Only his sounds as though it is a hardware, rather than a software, problem. Good Luck zB!!! And maybe neebs. I think she is taking her PC in for diagnostics tomorrow.

There is definitely a disturbance in the force. But other than that, this warm and sunny smoky Sunday, G*d's in Her heaven, and all's right with the World. :) Thank you for those excellent and inspiring recent videos of the climbers. Awesome.

The smoke of the forest fires arrived today in fairly full force. The mountains are lost in the smoke, and I can smell it in the air. I have all the air filters running. Now it really feels like summer is here: heat and smoke. Our prayers are that the fires stay far away, and only send smoke our way. And of course, as with everyone else, we are praying for rain.

Sleep well, friends.
