RIP The Warbler.
[Click to View YouTube Video]I met all the girls and loved myself a few
Ended by surprise like everything else I've been through
It opened up my eyes and now I'm
One toke over the line sweet Jesus

Amidst the talus piles.
Carefree days spent sightseeing where the tourists seldom set foot is one of the best ways to see Yosemite as its climbers do.
Though the north-facing slopes are shadier year-around, I prefer the sunny side of the valley.
Manure Pile descent trail.
Cookie area.
Sentinel Creek in the spring.

Decker's pile of goods was loaded onto pickups and hauled out to his new pad today. I said bye-bye to him this afternoon. He landed in ultra-north Merced somewhere.
My pace is picking up packing up. I have a goal of two to three boxes of possessions packed per day, which should yield "ready-to-go" status in about a week. Each box leaves me pretty breathless. I'm taking it slowly as there is no need to rush and help will be available if needed.
Still have to disassemble the bunks, but that will wait till Vern is ready to come pick it up and move it to his kids' place.
I'm ditching things I know I won't need, things I haven't used or looked at for years.
I got two boxes filled today, but didn't begin packing till noon. So tomorrow's goal is to finish all the books and get the glassware packed up.
zBrown, I looked at the final score of the NCAA's finale and I'm not surprised, but I'm sorry to have missed the game. I haven't seen a single b-ball game this year, not having a TV. Apparently I didn't miss much...it seems like it was pretty tame from your comments on the March Madness thread.

None of the games interested me much.
I found my mind wandering onto some way to get a handle on the ebb and flow.

Congregate
Lyrics: Rocco DeLuca
When the lights they go out,
We congregate,
The storm will come,
We congregate.
The ground ground will shake,
We congregate
Ad I will help you,
'Cause you'll help me through
this trouble at the gates of this heart.
When the sky falls down,
We congregate.
The cities they're all drown
we shall congregate.
There's no place to stand.
We congregate.
And I will help you.
'Cause you will help me through
the trouble at the gates of this heart.
When the lights they go out,
We congregate
The storm will come,
we shall congregate.
The ground ground will shake,
We shall congregate.
And I will help you,
'Cause you will help me through
this trouble at the gates of this heart.

Luther Johnson (born April 11, 1939, Itta Bena, Mississippi) is an American Chicago blues singer and guitarist, who performs under the name Luther "Guitar Junior" Johnson.
He is not to be confused with Luther "Snake Boy" Johnson, Luther "Houserocker" Johnson, from Atlanta, or Lonnie "Guitar Junior" Brooks.
