phuookin killya cold out! so i went to the only spot that is feet from the door.
(I put on a Vintage'79-'80s TNF Brooks Range,)
(downfilled, 60/40 cloth) parka, Blue With yellow/gold inside)
1st shot raw second reduced exposure, change in, color; clarity increased, changes to tint & warmth. Then all shadow & highlight stopped(?) down ]

Hopefully an antidote to that bitter below-zero cold.
After Her Put-Down
like a starvin Marvin I search for the cool
and like a scalded dog it runs away at my approach
and like a bull in a confined space filled with dainties
I rear and plunge and stomp and strain
the very opposite of cool
as a younger me I once carried my cool
like a satchel under the arm like a trusted courier
confidently and with the sure knowledge
that it cannot be taken by the uncool
who roam in packs like hungry jackals yapping
at an innocent but doomed kid
today it feels like i’d have to mug the guy
for one shred of shade from his pith helmet
or for a single sip of the bottled water he carries
in his fine Cordovan leather bag
it would be like dispensing grace to the sinner
turning my life groovy
but my popsickles have melted anyway
after this long a search
and the sticky mess is attracting meat bees
so excuse me
I must seek the shelter of the hot tent
where it smells of the last occupants’ gas
and the air mattresses both leak

Thinking on all the words I’ve read in the books I’ve owned
It would have worked out better had I simply remembered them
And not had all those boxes of books to fill each time I’ve had to move
I think we moved nine times in the first seven years we were wed
Then we split and I became myself again but still with half of those books
And for comfort did I turn to them oh no, just left them in their packed boxes
And bought more books which may or may not have given comfort
But which in turn became prisoners in other boxes until the purge
But in the slaughter one book remained and which I never read until now
The Autobiography of Benvenuto Cellini is much admired by many
And now it is my turn to listen to his description of ups and downs
That befell him as he proceeded to the ripe old age of fifty-eight
I may be reading this at the time of my death when I take my last breath
But I wish that it were that another could read it to me in melifluous tones
While I toil to write some more lines by which I someday may be remembered
Only to become a prisoner in a boxful of other words by other men like me

some a da time just can't resist the fun, So I posted this to the Brite- Bulb thread ; what is mind, I really only left it up as i got the young one on the school bus < pix ?>
know I should'a gone ahead and run ahead and thrown down A: " what after is? a sorta' "what if" , then- if then that what after?, is there any way to tell? ? Is that there was a before, any way a determining factor? and if before, then now too? but, no I stayed here with out my glasses on
