I called yesterday for a short time. He sounded a lot better than the day before. I guess he can take calls and I'm sure he would like to hear from his friends. he has been doing breathing exercises. Using that "blow up a ping pong ball in a tube thing" they give everyone that's admitted to the HSP. He needs to be more active but it's hard to be when ya can't catch yer wind. keep praying and sending healing vibrations. thx.

I had a nice conversation with Brian this morning.He sounds great and is upbeat about possibly being discharged on Sunday. He commented that he was able to cheer up some of the other patients....he’s battling his own health issues but able to look beyond himself and share the positive. Great Attitude!

Will be sending you one of these but will not be the small blue tabs on bottom or screw cap on the other end of mouth piece [mark in red] that is used by seals and younger guys something were we were when I will never know? But the one I will send will be Orange tabs for us old guys. My cardo doc after showing it to him for same recover to get lungs going ordered them instead of the old 1910 blow up and suck ball.
Plus when you are up to it will get some tickets for the upcoming Fight I believe coming to Merced after the first of the year

I cannot help but love the poet, strong with ethics from a sto0nr he is wrought.
But for your informationl, I can not stand most climbers of the centurie's ilk.
As many gnoe and most participated one way or the other in seeing climbing grow the way we wanted it to till the indoor game came.
We stood on the shoulders of the greats who did it 1st who did it with les so much less and all that iron too.
without our modern science kit of movable this and spring loaded that.
Many of us put our killa lives on hold, to relish the dust and stone. It was serious, it was fun, it was life with few women and a fair amount of pine-ing for these days when the women final figured out the strength to weight ratio thing.
We suspended, our trajectory to earn, we took off months to chase the sun, and it was seriously fun.
So to have worked till old to keep it pure or as a safe approximation of almost as good as the ethics back in the day. It pained me that it was now the realm of ashats with pry-bars,
and
im glad the fools dont post, I have many reasons that are biased, and may be biterole' man in there root cause, but examples are rife -
from non-belays described as "Aiming to be a soft catch", then a description from no less than Peter Croft saying the rope never went taught?!!
a solo that was a learning experience, pulling down & not out on creaky but NOT loose sandwiched flakes,
reduced by pry bar, one afternoon, to a jug haul, 200pounds of stone pry'd down to create just another 'oodson jug haul, was criminal.
