Wouldn't it conserve bandwidth if everyone just had one post to keep adding to and updating.
Eddie show cuts I'd seen b4. Never the 30 minute version - Thanks
Saw the bob show last night out on the reservation (I surmised that Native Americans are not as anti-cigarette as some other places)
Sinatra covers are not my favorites, but it is his show
Fellow sure plays a lot of music and keeps changin' it 'round (led off with Time Have Changed, finished off with Blowin' (the smoke?) and Mr. Jones
Almost the same show. No vid, decent audio,

"I don't like it, but I guess things happen that way"

What Eddie would have looked like today? That is not a gang sign that I recognize and I know quite a few)
Back when they were just beginning to integrate rock'n'roll (purloined from the addendum to the soon to be released Licky book chapter "Famous Black Swimmers and Rock/Ice Climbers")
OK one more. The Cap'n was bemoaning the lack of McKinney skiing photos some ways back, so here:
STEVE MCKINNEY SKIS MAMMOTH MOUNTAIN IN THE 1970S IN HIS USUAL STYLE—FAST AND TUCKED, PHOTO BY ERIC PERLMAN PRODUCTIONS
Not saying I was there that day, but not saying I wasn't either.
OK make it two.
STEVE MCKINNEY TAKES A SPEED-SKIING RUN ON STORM PEAK AT SILVERTON, COLORADO, IN 1981, PHOTO BY DAVID E. CARMAZZI
Read here (and weep):

Not always sunny up there
It looks to me like Steve McKinney is in the bowl behind Chair 3. Kinda wonder how long it took him to get there from the top. Wouldn't that put Herr Brown's Run off to his right and up [quite] a bit.
I also wonder who is following him down! Maybe somebody knows, ja?
Not as well known but Mr. McKinney also climbed and surfed. Can't say for sure, but this could be him on The Nose.
Not him
McCoy in his famous - nonTuck
Could be McCoys' son

Had a chat with CO Williams, former next-door neighbor and HS classmate and weight-lifting spotter, when we bumped bellies at the Cinema this morn...He told me he'd won a plane trip to Portland from the airport in Santa Rosa by being a Giants' fan some way...He took Patty, his GF...He lives in Forestville, near Santa Rosa and she drove up from Merced...They visited his boy there in Portland and planned to fly home on Monday...The flight had been scrubbed because of the fires...His son then drove them down through Grants Pass and on down into Willits and into Santa Rosa, where chaos and pandemonium kept them from their turn-offs...By devious means, he was able to navigate to the Santa Rosa airport, which is still closed, so far as he knows, to get his car, which he'd left in the lot...His place was safe, fortunately...But last summer, his ranch near Hornitos was burnt by the Detweiler fire, completely...There were no buildings, as such, on the property...A ruined gold mine in the middle of the ranch had some things lying about that got destroyed, but that was about it...There was never a ranch house there, as the Williams family kept a house in Hornitos...CO's uncle was an engineer for the YVRR until they went belly up...And that's the woebegone news from Merced.
Taken two years ago when visiting Camp Runamucka and the Rev.
In answer to your question? Yes? Where's my prize and how long can this go on?[Click to View YouTube Video]
As long as we want it to.
Just spoke with CosmicCragsman on the phone...He's jonesing about climbing...Not much new with him...
We discussed Puerto Rico's plight...We did not get to talk about Angels Fright, though we did talk Tahquitz/Suicide....

Weird thing. Once Steve McKinney (or was it McQueen) broke the Z_ydeco color barrier they put him in the back of the train for the videos

Clifton once out arm-wrassled, in succession, McKinney, Bates and some bowleg woman name of whatshername yonder at Cambodia 4. He then was more accepting of white folks on stage. I've heard but cannot confirm The Warbler or his grandpa appears in this one.

Good morning, world. Time to put on the kettle.
We were cruising back roads and the Rev loves to stop at yard sales.

In the summer of 1969, an estimated 200,000 people—a record number at the time—dropped in to the sun-drenched Devonshire Downs racetrack in Northridge (now part of the CSUN campus) to hear a stellar list

Didn't think to save the paper snd I ate the apple.
First Dylan show was $2.00 with fifty cent student discount.
