Fred Beckey is the OG of dirtbag climbing. He has established hundreds of first ascents, more than any other North American climber, and did it all with a rebellious attitude that would eventually define an entire culture. When we heard that a feature documentary was being made on his life as a climber we could barely contain ourselves. Here is the official trailer for the upcoming film about the legendary Fred Beckey that at 94-years-old is still climbing to this day.

We arrived in a Mercury and Michele gave him an old lipstick case cuz' he'd lost his slide. He did not return it in the melee after the show when Lame_beer was trying to re-enter the Knob.
