Hot enough for ya?

Hottest Alien Planet Ever Discovered Is a Real Scorcher

Astronomers have found the hottest known exoplanet, a world where temperatures exceed those on the surface of most stars.

The Jupiter-like planet, known as KELT-9b, zips around its hot host star once every 1.5 Earth days. Its orbit is so tight that the gas giant is tidally locked, always showing the same face to the star, just as the moon shows only one face to Earth.

Temperatures on KELT-9b's "day side" reach a blazing 7,800 degrees Fahrenheit (4,300 Celsius),

Tim lives down there, a short distance above the lake, but there's no access so he drives ten or so miles to launch.

Italic Text
At least 10 students have had their admission to Harvard College rescinded for allegedly posting offensive images and messages on Facebook, according to The Harvard Crimson.
Probably should be booted from the ST too. I bet not a one of them knows sheeit about basketball, nor do they climb anything other than their parents coattails.

Don't feed the bears or the Crimson or whatever.

The green pastures of Harvard (funny thing - my nephew was accepted at Harvard, Yale, Stanford and Merced Law Schools)

So what school did he choose? Anyway he's one of the top 40 lawyers in CA under forty now, according to survey results.

I'll sue your ass(es), if you're not careful.

This is a pretty large parcel and is part of a larger holding. Tim's been helping the old boy who owns the land by building roads through the acreage with a grader and some other equipment. But there are still plenty of rocks to move about to stabilize banks down along the creek. It's an impressive amount of work he's done...you can tell it's recent because no lichen have grown and the grass is just starting to take hold.

Good job, Tim. Thanks for having me up, if only for the weekend. Tell Ann the chocolate cake was absolutely KILLER!

It's enlightening to hear Mr. Dylan articulate how Buddy Holly influenced him so much when he was yet but a callow youth.

He pretty much got a woody listening to Buddy, sounds like.

Then he got a woody listening to Woody.

And what would he do next?

Electrify

His hair got frizzy
And his face grew long
Almost as long as his latest song
Taking up most of the day
With each exciting endless play
And the chicks ironed their hair straight
And wore gaudy gypsy headbands
Just like Jimi
The flame still burns
And nobody really dies
Especially the music
Who also favors an Afro

"Stereo soundboard with microphones - live matrix 'tape mix' cassette master - excellent sound quality. The lead guitar is a bit low on the first song but after that the mix sounds great. Highly recommended!

Lineage: Monitor soundboard feed + 2 Crown PZM microphones + 2 Nakamichi cm300 microphones and one other ambient microphone mounted on balcony railing > live matrix "tape mix" > Sony TC-WR950 quick auto-reverse deck > Dolby C encoded TDK MA90 cassette master. It was so loud over the stage that it was hard to get an optimal live mix, but notes were kept for each band in case they later returned. Some of the mixes sounded more ambient than others and this one really sounds more like a straight soundboard feed but does have ambience too.

Transfer: Nakamichi Dragon > Macintosh with Digidesign Audiomedia III card > Pro Tools (minor "nip and tuck" edits, normalization and tracking - no equalization or DNR) > AIFF > xACT [Flac level 8 files with sector boundaries verified]."
