Barring any unusual weather, the North Cascades Highway is scheduled to open 10:00AM this Friday (4/3). Five feet of snow at Washington Pass slightly less at Rainy, 70+% of normal or thereabouts.

wow , send those Cascade road guys down here to Tioga Pass ... the Tioga Pass guys seem like they're willing to let the sun do all the road clearing work this year ...
