What happened to this line?

The turquoise Meyer Reid guide shows it. I've climbed it in the past.

The newer Reid guide does not show it?

Renamed?

and Blackballed now seems to have more bolts than the old Meyer Reid guide showed.

Looks like Tiny Tim now goes over the roof, rather than left of the Roof?

Guides route has two bolts now too. That's newish to me.

thx

Safe to Surf was mislabelled in the 1994 topo. (It was missing from the topo caption).
It is on the topo as the first pitch of the route labelled EE.
It will be labelled separately in the new guide. (It was already corrected in the 2005 draft).

Blackballed is shown in the 1994 topo as having 2 pieces of fixed gear in the first crack (could be bolts or fixed pins). I don't know if those were added or were incorrectly shown on the 1987 topo.

I think you are seeing the 5.8 variation direct start to Tiny Tim. The original start left of the roof is still shown.

Guides Route is mislabelled in the 1994 topo. The first Y should be W. No bolts added. The second pitches cross and no W appears anywhere, so it could be confusing. But the bolt locations and counts are the same.

It's easier to answer route questions than the release date one!
Much work has been getting done, but I need to finish several topos I have rough drafts of.
