Index has some of the hardest, sand bagged rated routes on granite that I ever climbed. there must be some locals or visitors with great stories and photos. Please post .

EDIT: D2R2 - you are talking about City Park? Todd Skinner, Hugh Herr, Mikey S. and Alan Watts are the well-known ascenders

I cut my trad teeth at Index in the early '90's.

Paid my dues at the UW Wall for 2 years to get that first spanking.

Two words: Japanese Gardens.

Great climbing and evidently there has been a renaissance there with new lines and a lot of old ones cleaned up.
Andy De Klerk had a unrepeated 5.13R.....i wonder if that's had a second?
