Still have a full set in use today (and TCU's). Last time Deb and I were in the ditch climbing 3 young bucks walked up and sat down while I was leading. After I placed a couple, one of them said "wow, do those things still work?" ;-)

I still use rigid stem Friends on my main rack - they are lighter than Camalots.
As for that #3.5 booty one, its axle might be rusted, so it might not be repairable (not sure).

I pick up garbage all the time. I was really p-o'd to have to pick up a sh#t load of sh#t paper the last time I climbed at Cochise Stronghold. If that sh#t keeps up, look for toilets, rangers, campsites, and fees in short order.
