Amen to that.

Most ballplayers act exactly like what you'd expect of a 22-year old jock with unlimited resources.

What a wonderful life to have. Hope his coaches realize how healthy and financially sound what he is doing is.

Dood needs a better agent so he can get an Airstream.

Daniel is someone we can all look up to and learn from. I'm a fan now and I don't even like baseball. I like when he says don't used more than you need.

It looks like the Tigers will be in the playoff hunt to the last day and Norris has come on strong in the end of the season to keep them in it. Looks like he's got his game and you'll be hearing lots more about his guy, baseball related.

Last year

Seems he's also still living the van life in the off season and has taken to running with the Moon.

Gotta go see this guy next season. Maybe in Baltimore against their big home run hitters.

I feel like all the fame he's been receiving is going against his lifestyle choice

Great story, the only thing I have a problem with is dropping 10k on a 78 westy. for a bit more coin he could have had an earlier and more desirable van.

Definitely an unusual lifestyle choice for a major league pitcher. However I doubt if he considers himself a "dirtbag". Owning a motor vehicle, and having a $2 million income tends to preclude that description.

Too bad he couldn't find an earlier vintage VW--just sayin--I hate that year and model. probably says more about me than him...
