How y'all been. I've been offline for 6 weeks and its a nice break. I missed lot's of fun around here but i dropped in just in time to see my best RNWF ledge story fly into the history books; but that's another story.
I'm hoping to make this shindig.

Justin, impt Q: is there any cell signal at all from the campsites or from the top of the domes, or will we be incommunicado?

A lot of the west side of the crest of the ridge has line of sight to Fresno or other parts of the 99 corridor, so cell signal can be pretty good, depending on your carrier.

If you are lucky and the thermals aren't too aggressive - you can also catch both a Verizon and an AT&T signal from the east side of the Shuteye Crest by pointing your tinfoil hat towards the towers on the top of Gondola 2 Station at Mammoth.

I've posted from: Big Sleep summit, Crocodile, South Eagle Beak summit.
I was on AT&T at the time. Signal at the trailheads was minimal at best.
