Going to Tahoe in a week, was going to ski but that looks bleak. However, I noticed the weather is warming to the 60's. Has anyone been aroung Lovers Leap? Is it dry?

Bring skis and climbing gear. You'll be able to do both.

Thanks for the info, much appreciated!

I was thinking Heavenly or Squaw? Anyone have any info on these? Doesn't look like many lifts are running.

anyone climbed at Sugarloaf, Phantom Spires, or the Leap recently? conditions look to be warming & snowpack is bleak. Was thinking of climbing up there a week from now to celebrate my birthday. I'd love to know how current conditions are, Thanks!

I was just hiking at the leap about a week ago. Sugarloaf and phantom spires should be in for sure.

Hogs back is completely dry. East wall is good to go after 1:00pm (full sun exposure) There is limited amounts of snow at the base, but its fully walkable. The only issue looks to be the descent off the east wall, but take your time and I'm sure you will be fine. In fact the only real issue, was that the road to the climber's parking lot was pretty rutted. For now, I would only take a high clearance rig until they get graded out the road.
