I'm seeing blue and black in my left eye, the liberal one.

I'm seeing white and gold in the other, the conservative one.

I wonder, would it make a difference if it were an eyeball gown?

2 gold/whites here. But more important, this is a hell of a time for the internet to meltdown what with the Dept. of Homeland (doesn't that sound kind of Nazi-like) Security shutting down?

I interpret it as white/gold, underexposed and the white balance off a bit in the blue/cold direction. This effect happens if you take a point and shoot camera picture with the full-sun white balance mode when the subject is in the shade.

Of course if you do a pixel RGB comparison it is not 0xFFFFFF (all white) of course as few real things we perceive as white are actually observed under balanced full-spectrum illumination. Our brains learn to dynamically filter what we see based on the perception we form of the lighting conditions (which is based on all of our visual input and whatever other state information we can glean).

If the thing really is black and blue, apparently my brain is not picking up on th cues that it is a very over-exposed picture and there are reflections from the sheen of the fabric in the black part?

I finally saw blue and black when it was shown on a cell phone that I saw on TV newscast. They were doing an "in the street what do you see" segment.
Otherwise every device in my home or squint of my eyes didn't produce other than white and gold.

Hey Powder, how can you be sure you are not color deficient? I had no earthly idea that I was, until I was tested while in the Air Force, for the electronics school. My grandmother, my mother's - mother, told me that she was sure that my grandfather had been colored blind, so to speak, as they had always argued about what color everything was, and she was sure that he was full of sh!t!

In the general male population, European- Americans are color deficient in about 7%. African- American at about 3-4%. Other ethnicities are even a little bit lower. In northern Europeans males it is about 1 in 12. Women are about 1 in 200.

I just remember what a revelation that was to me when I learned about it at 18 years of age. I think there are many things in school that make it much harder for children with color impairment to understand what is going on in the world. One of the things that we are at an advantage is the ability to have a keener vision when it comes to recognizing a camouflaged item,- such as a rattle snake in the woods. Often I have been know to cut myself and inadvertently get small amounts of blood all over before I even notice. If you think about it, little things such as this may have had some advantage in the humans evolution, even though it doesn't necessarily seem to be an advantage in todays world .

What a dumbass do I see more like it*Eyeroll** ^^^ a tatoo? Really????

It's a shitty photo with the color balance off so the white looks blue and some monitors get darker depending on the angle you are viewing too, which might explain several people viewing the same screen and seeing different color..

I see white and gold. The white has a bluish tinge because of the exposure. I don't see black at all.

Edit to add: my color perception is very good and I spend a lot of time listing stuff on the internet, so my brain probably auto-corrects. I have one camera I avoid using for internet photos because of this problem. It casts a blue tinge on white objects if the lighting is insufficient.
