Hey,

I know this is rather last minute, but I figured I would alert anyone in the bay area climbing community about it. Kevin Jorgeson is coming to speak at Stanford University this Saturday evening (2/28) at 7:00pm. We are giving absolute priority to Stanford Students (as well as competitors in our annual bouldering comp that weekend), but any extra seats will be sold to the general public at $20 each. If you are local and don't mind the possibility of not getting a seat, come by Braun Auditorium (333 Campus Drive). The doors open at 6:00, but if you want the best chance of getting a spot, I recommend arriving earlier. We have 290 seats total, so there will almost definitely be some room for general public. See the attached flyer for more info.

you might want to expound on how "priority seating to students" is going to work.

are non-students going to be kept at the door until the final moment, and then let in if there is room?

(just looking out for people who may be driving a ways to get to this)

Sorry for not explaining that more. We will have a pretty good idea of how many seats we have remaining by around 6:30/6:40. There are 290 seats, and I doubt that many students/competitors will be in attendance. However to avoid people getting annoyed for lack of seating after driving long distances, I emphasized "If you are local and don't mind the possibility of not getting a seat" then you should come by.

Ok, updated info: We will begin selling General Public tickets at 6pm at Braun Auditorium (333 campus drive). Any A, C, or visitor parking spots on campus are free on Saturdays.
