SD back, back country
I can't get to the Boulders I want to get to because great boulders keep getting in my way.

There are several high sierra boulder fields that are ultra classic in quantity and quality, but the hike in with pads would be murder.
Why hasn't "Horse Padding" caught on yet?
A few hundred bucks and you could have all the comforts of Bishop with untapped boulder fields.
