Tried registering for the widefetish forum, but it says registration is currently disabled. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They had to shut down the registration due to the overwhelming demand from groupies and admirers asking for naked pictures of the moderators.
Hold tight, I'm sure one of them will see this post and grant you entrance.

Last year got gobbled up by my road bike, but I'm hoping to get back to some actual climbing this season, and less not climbing. So I went over to the WideFetish forum to seek inspiration the other night, but it wouldn't load. Still seems to be the case. Anybody know what's up with it?

Same here.
The FISH IT Support 800 number has a busy signal most of the time. I got through to the call center one time. They were helpful, but sounded like they were on the back patio having a margarita.

Godaddy did a server thingy on 12/22.... Forum and Gallery no longer work. I can't even get in. It was getting hard to keep up with the 3 posts a year anyway.
When the current hosting plan expires, the site will go black

Forum might be working now... gallery in the works. 2 hours with live chat at GoDaddy to sorta get it going again. Even they did not know what they did!

Nice work on the restore. Gdaddy seems to have their automation and backups set up pretty dialed for the average smf forum hoster.
Facebook killed the SMF forum. I'm waiting for the retro renaissance. Hold out!

the bummer is the gallery... there were tons of good pics in there and Godaddy said they cant restore or fix the problem they created since it is not their software.... huh? Neither is SMF but....
I will try to either upgrade the app, which will not upgrade right now without throwing a giant error log, or reinstall a fresher version on top and then try to import all the images.
It takes a lot a brain power when you are not that savvy with the terms or methods they are using. Might be like a 4 beer job.

Zero chance... we have already exceeded our 3 post a year limit with people giving the site last rites.
The only real thing to be gained by registering is that you can post some sort of question that can be answered here, or to see all the way out there porn that GoatBoySmells posted in the Members forum.
