Will, aka Captain Adventure, missed a great opportunity ...
He should have d-bagged his paraglider and jumped out of a high hovering helicopter, spiral diving his wing into a spot top landing on the top of the waterfall, and then rapped, and then had done the ice climb. I'm dissapointed Will.
Just kidding. Great guy with a great eye for record breaking adventure. Pretty cool.

the lip of the waterfall is constantly collapsing - especially Horseshoe Falls - and that the falls are receding [moving upstream] at a few feet per year. Erosion essentially stopped after significant flow of water was redirected to power generating stations on both sides of the border. Current flow of water doesn't have enough power to cause erosion.
As far as I understand at least in the last 10 to 20 years the lip of the waterfall was stable.

He is on the Canadian side of the falls ... you can see the horseshoe shape in the last couple of scenes.

woweewoow,,I did;nt know you were a CAN--oook pete,,so that would explain how you knew he used 2 lefthand axes and the route was so much shorter on that side of the river,,,

It apears that there are about 30 videos now. Here is a copycat climb. I honestly do not know whether this guy is from Canada or U.S. It's problematic, he wasn't interviewed seemingly because he was fluent in neither French nor English.
