Saw this some time ago. It's a classic of the genre. Some really great lines in there:

'Looks about fifty feet and luckily I've got thirty feet of rope so we'll see if it makes it down to the bottom...'

'I don't know too much about mountain climbing or anything like that, but my logic is that if you can't get down then you probably can't get back up.'

Brilliant. Hope he's still alive.
