I should have mentioned it's on a cam, but cant edit the original topic post.
Anyway, I think the trigger was pulled too hard when trying to remove the cam, and the wire unravelled. Anyone know the best way to get it wrapped back into place?

Send it in, after the e.mail round robin to confirm that it will be looked at.
Black Diamond has a hit or miss rep.,with returns. When dealing with them be humble, ask do not insist.

Happens all the time on my BD cams. Usually from getting scrunched in the pack or snagged/pulled by another piece of gear.

I use needlenose players and a flat head screwdriver to work it back into place. Then a couple of hard trigger pulls to seat it back in the tab thingy. Takes about 3 minutes.

none of the dire predictions came to pass,
