Stumbled on this youtube video completely by accident. It's got nothing to do with climbing, but I think most climbers will appreciate it...

Wow! Like, way fecking wow! That is most impressive. Why doesn't this guy have his his own TV show? It would be way more exciting than watching climbing.

Good lessons about the evolution of archery. Will climbing gradually go indoors and a climber someday rediscover that it can be used to climb mountains?
But shooting and at splitting an incoming arrow???!!! What kind of tip did the incoming arrow have??
Lars is amazing and I like the way the video is done.

This is an incredible video, David! I've done a fair amount of archery through the years, and I was always stoked to get a tight cluster from a decent distance.
Man...I gotta set my sights higher...

Compared to what he's basing his approach on, Agincourt was new school.

The thing that I think about is how we "modern" people become very arrogant about our abilities compared to what we think the "ancient" people were capable of.
Plenty of examples ; the Anasazi hand&foot trails, the Easter Island statues, the pyramids, the rock structures built by the Inca, south seas navigation, spear chucking with an atlatl, et'c.....
And even more irritating is when ancient technologies are ascribed to aliens. Sigh. Why can't we accept that humans have always had ingenuity?
Yeah, but could they text? Um...I don't think so!

Well folks, it's official. We've finally found the the secret weapon we've been missing in the fight against ISIS/AQ. Drop this guy out of an airplane and he'll have things taken care of in no time.

I used to do a lot of archery and I think the guy who wrote that article ^^^ didn't realize the video was meant to be impressive AND FUNNY!
Next he's going to critique the guy's roller blading technique. That video was amazing! Even if it took him a million tries for each shot it's still a million less that it would take virtually every other human on earth.
We used to hunt squirrels for practice. I'd love to go shoot squirrels with Lars, especially from the back of a motorcycle.
