That video of two dudes in a barrel has some pretty sick footage of inner tubes being towed in on monster waves. Serious sack-shriveling nuttiness!

I've seen some sick breaks up the west coast of Vancouver Island and in
Alaska. Gnarly, but sick!
No swell here this day but on a good day you can forget about the first pitch!

Hey Pyro
I surfed Willow once.
I was rollin solo, no real significant swell in the water. Checked it from where your vid was shot and watched 3 OH tepees roll in out of the kelp- pretty much where that right comes in at about 1:15.
Then I looked down at da boyz in the carpark. Muddy trucks and gun racks. Went for it anyway.
No pre surf stretch or smoke or watch. It was on with the suit and out there.
I knew they'd be scrutinizing me and my "souther" board.
As I was just starting the cobble dance one yelled
"Nice booties hahaha!!!!"
Thing was, I wasn't wearing any.
First/only time heckled for NO booties.
Made it out easy and went straight to where those peaks came in.
I was nervous- new spot with locals just waiting to heckle, and sometimes I suffer from stage fright.
Sure enough those peaks popped up out of deep water. They were way bigger than they looked from the cliff.
I paddled over the first and was in perf position for #2 and it was a gem.
Dragged my arm as soon as I stood up and got a proper barrel, cutback, kicked out heart beating.
Got a hoot from the boyz, had a great session.
FYI the water is 10+ degrees colder there than anywhere around. Big rocks, big fish, more powerful/bigger than it looks.
