Then there is the Taco Truck that parks in the east Valley, at the Pick-Your-Part

East San Gabriel Valley? Been there, that's a great truck. Great lengua tacos and milanesa.

Long gone, but Mario's Liquor Store in Huntington Beach is legendary. Best tostadas EVER.

La Parilla on Valley in Alhambra, my old boss said it was like eating in his mother's kitchen.

If you're ever in Alamosa, Co. there's a little place down by the tracks. Great place to carbo load before or after a trip to - Great Sand Dunes, Blanca/Little Bear, or back side of The Crestones.

The original SuperTaco was served by Jack in the Box and apparently had kangaroo meat inside. (Details omitted for fun).

"And Chaz, your correct about the 10 and the 60 fwys... If east bound on the 10, you get off of the 10 at Alabama St, out in Redlands, go south for about 1/8 mile there is a place, on the right, cant recall the name, Zebulas or something.... always busy,- Shrimp Cocktail .. to go please."

They closed for a few weeks - I thought the place was gone. But they've re-opened under a new name after a makeover. I haven't been in there since, but it looks like it's the same place. The new sign says something about how long they've been in business.

They make a really good Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich there too, believe it or not.

El Charrito in Salinas. Worth a stop if you find yourself on the 101.

Homemade tamales yum.

An otherwise hateful place, El Paso had some of the BEST Mexican food I've ever had.

Taco truck burritos are also the bomb.

I just found out recently that Tacos El Gordo in Chula Vista ranked 29 on the Yelp 100. I did not count how many taco places were on the list.

Great Beta guys!

I just remembered I forgot to post this shot of Chronic Taco's awesome Quesadilla.

If you're hungry, why don't you make yourself a fricking quesadilla?

Cruel is the season having opened April 15th and me thinking the soonest I'll get on the water is early June.

Nah, cruel would be mentioning enjoying the same meal on a sandy beach with Half Dome's stunt double in the background

and Tuolumne like slabs coming almost out of the water in the next bay over.

but I wouldn't do that ;)

The Bahia in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur. This was my meal twenty minutes ago, a Bohemia y dos tacos, un pescado y un camarone a la plancha, harina.

eighty five pesos for the meal, fifteen for the tip...best seven dollars you could ever spend.

Albuquerque has some great Mexican places as well, but they have a New Mexican bent. If you like red and green chile sauce, they can't be beat. Just do a Yelp search.

My brothers and I took a trip there just going from place to place for 3 days.

Also, not sure if it is still there (30 years since I've been there). A place called Madgalenas in Pueblo CO. All food was cooked to order; could take an hour to get your order.

Estoy chocar este hilo.

I spolk with the owneress. She says they sell 300 burritos off of this cart each day, more or less.

Today they had a special, one bean & cheese burrito for a buck.

Cozy out on the patio in the morning sun.

Sparrows chirping, floral display, folks going to work...un dia bueno, fer sure.
