I got to the first page of the article and quit.

Crunches are worthless? You should have seen my six-pack BITD thanks to crunches....

Choking my chicken is probably one of the least effective ways to build forearm endurance and upper arm tone... but I do it anyways!

the article is poorly titled sensationalism. Its not about something being worthless. Its about new science showing exercises that do a better job and have less dangers. But whats the fun in saying that.

Last week I swam the entire length of the Columbia River (upstream), then made love to a thousand Canadian amazons who feed men that cannot satisfy them to their pet wolves - while doing Bikram yoga.

Not worthless, but very wasteful timewise.

Oh wait, I thought you said crutches and was thinking you had too many six-packs. Nevermind..

The best exercise of all time? Stay tuned.

Tvash! Re your post:

That's absolutely amazing! I was never that much of a swimmer and yoga wasn't in fashion in the 1970's.

I did relish those Canadian amazons & their wolves!!!

I tend to prefer Canadians and wolves without the relish.

It has just recently come to my attention that the first wireless EKG heart rate monitor was invented in 1977 as a training aid for the Finnish National Cross Country Ski team. I'm trying to find out what useless exercises they were doing.
