Coo! We have a corridor that gets groomed about the same width and set tracks for 'xc' on both sides and folks walk in the middle and they frown on the fatties using there groom. Personally, I could care less if they fat it up on the groomed for 'xc' but I don't dig the tracks on the groomed skate lanes. Oh and I appreciate all those groomers out there that put in the time for the rest of us, an extended thanks to you Wilbeer!!!

HC, how's the nordy thing coming along in your b'zone? We have perfect conditions(above normal pack and density) in town and the 'bilers have been grooming a lot of FS road miles just outside of town for that Nordic ski BC kinda feel...I dig!!

The last couple biuebird days are well shown in Norm and Charlie's pics! Cold and clear, great conditions.

CharlieD, good to see Frazier country makin a show. That's my greater backyard. Who are you? I knew from your posts that you enjoyed cold, interior snow, but now the bzone. You might know that the peak above and left of 2nd photo, is skiable right from the top in good years, down the shaded face on right. Looks too thin now. It's also a known assassin.

Here's deep Hyalite a couple seasons back when conditions were quite safe.

cragar, yes the skinny sliding has been great. You have more snowpack up north though.

Charlie or Norm, contact me: blackwerk7atgmail.com I'd like to say hi.

Norm's got skiing!
When you return, is it to where you posted pics here earlier, last season?
It all looks so good. I miss the pass. Keep turn in' Larson.

Two days ago Angles Crest Hwy Southern California. Barely enough to ski but worth a quick solo morning tour.

Enviable photos!

Hey, John Duffield, were you doing the Maine Huts and Trails system? Climbed with a guy who did some of the hut construction, but haven't yet seen his work or used the trails. Next time I'm gettin' useless in Eustis, I'd like to make time to tour a bit.

Yeah, that particular dog is the strongest ski dog I've ever seen. Absolutely charges through 30" of low density. Stupid, but strong. And cute.
