Because the original apparently got nuked by somebody. And too many OHV riders really do suck.

If you're smart enough to resurrect the old thread, I'll nuke this one.

And the ones that don't suck are the exception that makes the rule. Hmmmm.....come to think of it, there are no exceptions.

"Elitist! "

Not at all. Don't like the goddam things, but if they'd stay where they're legal, I could live with it. Too many selfish pricks who think it's their god-given right to ride anywhere they want, though. Really f*#king tired of those as#@&%es tearing up places they don't belong.

I think the neighbor kid must have run his mini-bike over Apogee's lawn again.

Once we went hiking at a mountain pass in Colorado. There were a couple of OHVs working one side of the pass, so we took off in the other direction.

But then the OHVs came over to our side of the pass and they spent the day driving in circles around us while he hiked.

What a bunch of as#@&%es.

If you stick together and don't run, those american OHV's won't attack you. They are pretty timid. But those canadian OHVs will eat you. Don't mess with them.

I totally agree. I see it the forms of recreation I partake in except for skiing.. There are some selfish folks out there for sure. You ever hike a 'climbers trail' that is in a zone it should have avoided, or a climb for that matter?? If you haven't, then no worries. How about folks climbing in areas that are sensitive to wildlife? Climbers keeping quiet about nesting peregrines at their favorite crag so it doesn't get closed seasonally to climbing? I called it elitist because I believe self examination is paramount prior to making accusations like the op and their reasons for it.

Nah, I'm not the OP. Just the resurrecter de jour.

Good point, though.

Its possible to make them very quiet but OHV types seem
to enjoy the noise. Possibly to drown out the evil
voices in their head?

Listen people:

1) God made America
2) America loves the internal combustion engine
3) If no internal combustion engine is involved, it isn't fun
4) Fun directly from God.

Any questions?

"Its possible to make them very quiet but OHV types seem

Exactly. Precisely.

Selfish f*#kheads who think that it's all about them & their experience, and if you don't like it, you're an as#@&%e.

And same thing goes for jerkwad midlife crisis bikers with their aftermarket pipes & their 'loud pipes save lives' selfish bullsh#t.

Today...some idjut splits lanes on the freeway at 65 mph. I don't give a rat f*#k if the guy becomes road pizza, but he doesn't give a sh#t if he hits my rig or causes harm to anybody else.
