I climbed the Sorcerer about ten years ago...drove into the Ghost in a low clearance, 2WD rental. Got stuck once but made it in AND out.

Jim if I'd tried that in my Cavalier I think it would still be there. I'm impressed you got back up the hill.

the Sorcerer is a great climb. I did it with Kevin Doyle I think we were using Stubai axes, high tech for those days. Kevin led the last pitch (solid old school Grade 5). He went left 30 feet from the cave belay, placed 1 screw then ran it out 80 feet until I complained and he placed his second and last screw. Kevin was the ultimate rope gun. He did the first ascent of Gimme Shelter 4 days after Alex and Jeff Lowe backed off it. Kevin and Tim Friesen had a pink flamingo guarding their tent at the base.
You were lucky, Jim. Even good vehicles get left behind certain days
