My freshly re-modeled Joshua Tree home is for sale. Located close to Coyote Hole and a short walk to town, this is a nice place for a weekend climbing base, or a short term rental property.

It's a cool house. Scott did a nice job fixing it up.

I have moved to Guadalajara, Mexico, and no longer need a house in Joshua Tree. This is a nice place. I did most of the work myself, including tile floors, tile bath, and a new kitchen. Epi,RLF and Tucker Tech did some of the trim out.

Its a climbers house, re-modeled by climbers, for climbers.

Very tastefully done. It should sell quickly. The tile on the floor makes so much sense in that environment. Food luck!

Scott and Robert and crew fixed the place up nice;...it looks great....I've been over there a number of times myself There is also a very large and beautiful mesquite tree in the front yard. The south side is also the prefered side of the "tracks" to live on....and yeah;..donini is correct;...anywhere else in California you would pay up the nose for a place like this........wack, isn't it..
The one thing I don't like about the house is that Scott isn't living in it anymore;......we miss ya, Scott.....good luck with you new situation;...sounds like a great one!

I miss all of you, and JT as well, but change is good right? There is lots of climbing here too, including lots of undeveloped crags.

And yes, the coolest Mesquite in town is in the front yard.

Good luck, I'd buy it in a second, if I was there.
Anyone with a similar deal, in greater Moab who wants to carry the note themselves, talk to me!

That is a good deal in town either as a primary or an investment.
Most 2bd 1ba VRBO's go for $160 to $200 a night.

On the low end if someone had cash in hand and estimating
75% occupancy plus 10% in taxes/insurance and upkeep a year
an investor could break even within three years and then
have a cashflow of $35K a year before taxes.
Better returns than the Dow or S&P can guarantee with $118K.

Even if they wanted to finance they would break even
within five years and cashflow $30K all while having
a place to crash whenever they want.

Good luck with the sale.

so tempting, but to early for me to make that leap. I am sure it will move quickly.

The house is nice. I did all new tile floors with custom tile in the kitchen and bath. All new cabinets, windows, doors, countertops, etc. The big corner lot with large trees is nice, and being able to walk to the cafes and JT Saloon is a plus for potential rentals.

I like Goatboy's numbers. This would be a good investment for someone.
