For those of you active on Facebook, this will be redundant, but
I learned yesterday that Jeff Schwenn died. The memorial service
was yesterday, and sadly I learned too late to attend. He was
a special friend, the young, small boy who had bad asthma and was
told he could not climb. He visited me, and I told him he should
climb, if that was his desire. He was only 14 but looked younger.
I quickly discovered he could climb well. We did all sorts of
Eldorado classics, such as T-2 and Yellow Spur, and we climbed
the Maiden and many things around Boulder. I don't think I ever
had more fun than those days with little master Jeff.

Redundant, but very apropos.

Very sorry for your loss, doubly so for not being able to make it to the memorial.

Peace be with you and may he rest in peace.

Sorry to hear this Pat. It's a good thing when people get out and learn to overcome limitations. In this young mans case it was outdoors, and up on the cliffs. When someone told him he couldn't, it probably made him want it that much more. Thanks for helping him out Pat.

My condolences to you and to his family, Pat. What a lovely tribute to him, with great photos! He was fortunate to have you show him what he could do and be.
