Love these photos!!!! ...... memories of striking out from Whitney Portal under a full moon ... as I stepped from shadow into moon light a critter jumped onto the trail right in front of me ... scared the "moonlights" out of me ... stabbed it with my ski pole .......... my shadow still has a hole in it ...

Not moon related but felt it was the spirit of this thread:
For an hour tonight a couple of great horned owls serenaded me outside my kitchen window. So magical.

Disregarding the rule, Mouse pointed out that the moon was coming full shortly.

The little dog howled and the dish and spoon finalized the plan for the elopement.

Bossie readied herself with her new Nikes.

And Selene grew larger by the night.

Full moon this month is on January 4, just two days after Cosmic's Birthday. His full moon pic earlier in this thread was awesome. The huge orb should be awesome with the clear skies. Post up your pics for all the campfire to enjoy. Cheers! and a Happy, Blessed New Year to all yo Tacoheads.

Great enough that dish and spoon ran away together leaving knife and fork behind.

How are ya Jaybro? Thanks for your post Phil. Again, Happiest of 2015 to each and everyone.

My phone was riding shotgun face up on the way home tonight and the moon's reflection would blast me in the eye occasionally, making me think someone was actually texting me hahaha

What is it about the mystery orb that draws? The fullness of the moon paints beauty in the night sky and gives us pause, allowing one to appreciate the vast glory of our universe. And if we listen carefully, it speaks to our lives. A reminder to let go of the rubble of things and embrace the creation and those around us.

Mouse, I was at the opening night in Orange County.

Wondering what the implications are of the coincidence of my 51st trip around the sun on this day of full lunar illumination...
