I taught each of my kids to howl at the full moon when they were about 1 year old. Still catch them doing it from time to time (they are in their 20s now). Always glad to see that you are a positive influence on your kids.

One of the best things about the full moon is night hiking without a flashlight. My boy Scout troop used to schedule all their backpacking trips around the full moon so we could hike in on Friday nights.

Special photo card Ed sent out for New Year 2014. Beautiful Moon but landscape makes my heart hurt. The huge Yos fire of 2013. So difficult to drive from the Eastside to Bay area and see the black pain of forest fires.
