Rob/Jingy:
Watching you be surprised that there are many who think of you with fondness is a reminder to me to update my own self-concept. I love what Anastasia said:

The truth is it only takes a moment to appreciate a person for a lifetime.

You've collected so many people who appreciate you, and have the capacity to be able to witness who You are, not your body, but You. I hope you can fully embrace this truth about you that we are already seeing:

Sorry for the gooey sentiment, but you rock.

First day back to work after the Holiday break. Our Christmas was looking grim as my wife has been very ill and we decided not to decorate or have a tree, we decided not to exchange many gifts as we have alot of medical bills and no children. And then on Christmas eve a package arrived from my "SECRET SANTA" It was from a wonderful lady named "LEGGS" I waited until Christmas day to open it as we had only a few to open. It contained a "Astronomy course" "Our Night Sky" book,DVD, and planisphere. COOL!! as the sky is quite bright up here. My wife asked if I knew "LEGGS" from all the years I spent in Yosemite. I said no, I don't think so...maybe..Anyway she was amazed that a person I did not know would spend so much time and money to make sure it arrived before Christmas. She said she must be a"Very Special kind of person" to do this for me..And she smiled...we do not do a lot of smiling around here lately.."LEGGS" you made my wife(and me)"SMILE" You must really be a thoughtful person and anybody that knows you must be blessed..Again.."THANKS LEGGS" for the gift.I hope the New Year brings you much joy and happiness as you certainly deserve it. Your new freind and fan...Frank and Shawnda Wyman...

hey there say, rob... wow, just wanted to say, wow! nice warm feet there!

and the sentiments are part of what makes gift-giving such a
'seed of life' the gifts grow through the future, like what anastasia
said...

feeling shared with friends, are kept in the heart forever...
even after time fades the gift day, into yesterday...

furn note for daphne, as to to your share, here:
hee hee, 'gooey sentiment' is good ... like tree sap, it STICKS onto us
right on 'through the future' and is hard to forget... :)

say, frank... leggs shared a very fun and special time, for facebook friends, with her care and love, getting this gift ready (wrapping it)...
it was fun focus to be 'part of the behind the scenes' and now:

see where it LANDED, :))

Late arrival at midnight from the beaches and palmtrees in Fuerteventura to a snowy and cold Sweden.
Waiting in the mailbox was a beautiful little gift from justthemaid Skip. Wow!

Did you know that I'm fond of butterflies, or was that a happy coincidence?

Thank you so very much!! Very glad for my Secret Santa gift. :-)

Edit: It's upside down the photo. I just noticed I photographed from the wrong way.

Yay, glad it arrived Lollie. Holiday international can be pretty slow sometimes but that wasn't too late. I didn't know if you liked butterflies... it just seemed like a cheerful theme.

So I got a box in the Post Office

To Prod,
From Supertopo Secret Santa.

The contents of which included this.

It was actually bigger, but Edge and I ate it to there. Then it was finished off by her, when our backs were turned.

It also had this in it, which was enjoyed on Christmas morning with some bagels, cream cheese and capers.

And finally there was this, which I have yet to try but am looking forward to it.

So, whoever you are, thanks for all of the great tasty gifts!!!

Cheers,

Prod.

hey there say, jingy... thank you, you are quite welcome...

say, yes, seasons of life and seasons that climbers face or enjoy...

seagoat knew right away, she wanted the quilt done...

the boat, too, stands for her mouton noir, boat--though the boat is done in blue... :))

you can read some about the boat's adventures, somewhere in the taco, and about her husband's sails, to hawaii, also... :)

brandon- sure hope they will get their box... most likely,
they been out of town, etc...

:) hope so... or, are shy??

prod, thank you for a yummy share, there, from your
secret santa ... wow,
