Charlie that did it.
where i should be updating shop drawings today,
and laying out shores,
im instead packing the bike and crag kit
and heading east into a tragic sunrixe
prosperity be damned.
all around me someone put electricity where candles should earn
their way thru the darkness.
i'm thinking a couple runs up the east wall
and then a pedal up to cody meadow....
i can go solo,
but hey do you want to play hooky?

CV, would love to play hooky with you but business calls. Sure hope this system produces something more than a dusting. May head up to Carson Pass with the skinny skis on Sunday if we get surprised. BTW don't forget MWP two weeks from today!!!

Thanks for that - glad someone else remembers! I thought the map was cool, just kinda wondered why he pulled it. Don't recall the tone of the post being overtly inflammatory/"chicken little" at all.
Weird.

Speaking of El Capitan. I've got some buddies on Lunar Eclipse and I'm wondering if they're going to beat the storm. These boys are weather veterans but still I'd like to hear that they are done, down and laughing with beers in the meadow.

I do remember "Da Chief" forecasting a huge storm for the Sierras.
He's never wrong, just ask him.
However the High Sierra forecast on Climbingweather.com, shows some snow, but not what a real man like "Da Chief" would be concerned about.

You just need to remember those weather guys are likely liberals that believe in climate change.

Weege you taking wippers on that thing? Be careful. You would like it around here. Much go for it terrain with not so much go for it protection.
