thanks for the suggestions HV.

i hit the character count limit on the original post and was in the process of reorganizing everything, but have been pretty swamped at work, so this project slipped to the wayside.

will revisit this at some point, so keep the suggestions coming...

Wow, fabulous work. Is the first entry getting updated as things are added? I think the post wiki-ish compendium is a great idea.

Tarbuster's Mussy Nebula was a multi thread history piece, with Russ the Fish figuring prominently but ranging widely over areas and personalities. I think it deserves a thread by thread breakdown like the Stonemaster Stories.

I really appreciate the reminder what a fabulous repository this is.

more good stuff HV...

yeah Off White, I will be adding all suggestions to the first post... only problem i currently have is that the first post has a character limit, which i've hit... so i have to break the first post into a few different new threads... which in order to keep everything organized takes time i don't have right now... :) but i will update it in the near future, so keep the suggestions coming.

and nice comments regarding the Mussy Nebula threads... those were head scratchers regarding where to categorize them for sure... i like your suggestion.

that's it, that's all for this thread folks...

please don't post to this thread anymore...

due to a character limit per post, the first post of this thread is now effectively locked and nothing can be added to it...

as such all of the information was divided into the following five threads so that there is room to grow:

THE INDEX: 1. Threads
THE INDEX: 2. Trip Reports
THE INDEX: 3. Serial Threads

thanks to everyone who contributed to this thread!

nah000- Maybe you should drop any of my threads out of the OP and leave them on the dedicated Steve Grossman thread to free up some space.

Just a thought...

thanks for the thought... there's too much good stuff for that to work for very long...

regardless, i've gone ahead with another solution already: if you haven't already, click the links in the post preceding yours...

I saw that and thanks for putting in the time and effort to make this material easily accessible.

Time to get Chris to create another category next to "FORUM" for these compilation posts to live or some other mechanism that makes them easy to find for folks that are intertested.
