Seeing the news of the great Honnold on the muir made me think of this one too. So good.

Edit- this thread is another awesome example of how stupid it is that admin destroys awesome climbing content when users are deactivated. First time I read this thread it had a lot of great posts by coz.

a little more housekeeping, before i add RyanD's latest harvest...

decided it made more sense to organize the thread list by subject, [rather than by author]... so will include a link to the post above on the first page so that they can still be searched via the original author organization...

RyanD: nice work as usual! sorted 'em, categorized 'em, added 'em... my favorite of these, that i hadn't seen before, was the muir thread. and way to milk the slab threads... who knew... so sweet...

nature: that chicken is the second most referenced man-made inanimate object [that i can think of] on this board... hahaha. [for anyobdy who's new, the most referenced has to be blue and in the shape of a "christmas tree" hahaha]

in the housekeeping department i cross referenced the big kahuna threads back to the main list organized by subject. also added a canadian rockies section that includes grossman's north twin and avery's mt. alberta threads...

while the tr and serial sections are rounding out nicely, the main thread and single post sections have lots of gaps that need filling... so, keep 'em coming!..

received a list, from guido, of a bunch of his threads and tr's. while the german side of me doth not like the breaking of rules, the lover of gold can't resist! i listed all of his climbing related threads and tr's above [as well as the build a boat thread which again is too good not to bend a few rules] and then linked them from the first page...

i also nominated the first eight [edit: now nine], as listed above, for the first post as they are clearly gold... if anybody feels that there are others that should be included [same for grossman's threads...] feel free to pipe up.

thanks so much for the original posts and for forwarding the compilation guido! now you owe me a non-guido initiated nomination! ha!

thanks Pc, zB, SG, SS, Av and tji!

and especially to RyanD... without your stoke and gold mining, this thread likely would have died shortly after inception... and thanks for another good batch... i added 'em all except the manips thread... [while it's arguable for sure, i feel like it's very slightly a bridge too far from the "climbing" theme... that said if more people want it i'm open to being overruled...]

guido also sent another sweet one. there is a shot of kor in there that is gold in and of itself... i added it both to his compilation post above and to the tr section of the first post...
