Life insurance is a gamble. You are betting you will die, the company is betting that you will live.

I always laugh when insurance agents call it "the last gift you will give your family"

I remember an interview with Scott Franklin on TV (maybe when they showed the Snowbird comp in 1989?). He was talking about how he and his wife live in a tent and don't really have much. Then he laughs and says something like "but I have a $10,000 life insurance policy"
I always think of that when insurance discussions come up.

If you climb and live in Canada and want to protect your family then give me a shout. I'm a life insurance broker....
....on those rare occasions when I actually work.
And this is not such an occasion. I'm on my way to El Cap!
