Curious...anybody out there know if this route Bonsai (Grade 5 5.9 A3) goes free?

Hit up Todd Worsfold or Carville, Paul. I know they've done all pitches free. Don't know about one push though.

I'm pretty sure it goes. I've not yet redpointed the 4th pitch. It's long, techy and very dirty.

I know those guys freed every pitch, the hardest being 5.12b.
Mike posts up a fair bit here. Maybe he can shed some light on it.

Hey Paul, I'd go clean and work it with you. It doesn't need any digging dirt, just a scrubbing of a thin layer of moss. I gotta warn you though. It's a long, sustained pitch of micro crimping.
