Hey Marty, I think it might have been Russ McLean, but I'm not positive

Bill went back up on Tis-a-ack with Russ McLean September, 1978. They were successful and summated without any further ado.
Earlier the first try when Bill was badly injured and rescued was with an american law student named Tony. A picture of the two (Bill and Tony) appears on page 158 of Maxim's book. Tony's last name is not known to me but I am sure some of here do.

Thanks hobo_dan. I can only try my best. It's very difficult for people to find the time to contribute to threads like this. Life makes so many unexpected demands on us.

Hey Bob, great story. I've never met Nick. I knew Bill only casually.

Fond memories of my old mate Bill Denz and good times in the Valley,Santa Cruz and Alaska. Sadly Al Hay is also no longer with us but I'm still fit and well and would love to hear from any old mates from that era. Brian Dyson dysontoday@gmail.com
