That ain't it, Todd. This thing is way separated and stand alone. The summit is a good 35 - 40 feet from the main cliff. Check that video again! No way nobody's done this.

Sorry, no clue....

puzzled by the way the video jumps from scenic to floor of the vehicle and back, almost as if deliberately not wanting the viewer to see the broader surroundings. Also it appears to be a video of a video, or something.

ding ding ding ding ding! The Sw0le Cowboy knocks it out of the park! I know where it is, I shot the vid 1992ish. Was thinking about going back after 22 years. Expected somebody on ST would have the skinny. Grade/rack/height/etc? How long ago did you bag it?

Never jumped on the beast, but the preliminary look I took seemed promising...I know that there has been some significant recent activity just across the drainage and I figgered those folks had gotten on the tower in question. Keep us posted! I am excited for you, and quite envious!

How did you find it? I was hiking in with wife and kid to prospect for yellowcake uranium and indian stuff. Didn't really spot it until we were a stone's throw from it.

Cowboy, feel free to post more of this goodness.
This place is lacking in desert towers.

just the usual stuff, you know, poking around alone in the uranium-vanadium zones, prospecting fer virginal choss towers.

thank you for the reminder of where my heart lives whilst I am stuck on the dark side of the Divide.

wingate is not wingate is not wingate

Thank you bvb, seriously, I needed a reminder that my little castles made of sand are not mine alone, nor am I the first, nor will they (all, at least) crumble before I can get back to them.

Several do-able lines, the left-most being most sustained and potentially sexually classic.

I have the weirdest bonar right now for the one on the far right.

Okay, I give up. What the heck is a "wingate"? Even Google couldn't help me.
