Some very talented climbers quietly pull up a chair at our campfire and Canadian Nancy Hansen (nh here) just nonchalantly dropped her 46 of 50 Classic Climbs tick list over on that thread.

Welcome Nancy!

Finishing the Fabulous Fifty is certainly book material but it would be really fun to hear about this quest while it is still in progress.

Nancy- How many did you do before the notion of touching them all grabbed you?

Did Mighty actually produce such a list? I'd love to see that!

Anyway, welcome Nancy, and please bring your photo album to the campfire. We promise not to spill beer on it. Well, most of us promise anyway....

That mighty Canadian babe who rope gunned us up Rock Lobster, provided Em with the Mp-3 and without whom several of us might not know the splendor that is Aeropress!!

Welcome indeed!

Aw - shucks! Thanks everyone! I may fit right in, because I live in Canmore, which is full of Canmorons like myself. Only problem is, I suck at staying on top of social media stuff. Anyway - thanks for the welcome. If anyone wants to tick the truly GOOD routes in the Fifty Classics book, lemme know. In my opinion, about 40 of the routes are excellent, and most of those are not crowded, especially if you are willing to climb them in the shoulder seasons. Hi Em. Hi Jaybro, Hi Tami. :-)

sweet. thanks for the share, nh.

now how about a list of the top five [or seventeen] that didn't make roper + steck's list but would be at the forefront of a list of 50 classic climbs according to nancy hansen?

Welcome Nancy I hope you have many more great fun and sun filled days in the mountains. It's very impressive what you've accomplished. Of your top 17 I've only climbed 8. I doubt I'll ever get to the others. Thanks for the stoke!

Not sure if it was mentioned but she is also the first woman to climb all the 11ers of the (Canadian) Rockies.
She's hardcore, that's for sure.
