My comment was tongue in cheek, as I'm not posting very often.

If you don't like the political banter and the other bullsh#t, go somewhere else by all means.

There are many aspects to climbers that involve things that are not climbing related.

Do what you must. People are inherently social, yet dynamic beings. Stop trying to make everything fit into a perfect hole.

People are different. And as such, their opinions and interests and focus.

I get the feeling a lot of people are posting without reading the whole OP.

Only makes it more entertaining, I love this thread

I know you're not leaving, but there's an awful interesting history of ST religi-tards (cousins to politi-tards) who make some kind of position...get whacked by those that don't support it...then get all butt-hurt and say 'Bye!'

Thicker skin, or don't go into the kitchen. Or some such mixed metaphor.

Rather reverential of you both.

This leaving business is not going too well, is it? :)

No matter where you go you'll find the trolls that will attack with a vengeance. As long as no one can be identified, the anonymity of the Internet forum will bolster those little ones that would other wise back step the shadows of the room.

I don't think the anonymity is as enabling as not being in the same room.
