Hey world: We apologize for electing a malignant narcissist ...twice.

I think it will take more than an apology to undo the wrongs of Dick Cheney.

Post some of those naked asscent photos you get first naked ascents on, and your ass will be seen around the world. That should keep immigration down for a while, I remember it scared the bejesus out of me..

Seems to me worrying about the web being world wide misses something rather more important. The people on site are experts in a raft of fields. Enough to make one kind of careful in what one says.

See! There are professional website cullers for hot topics - the next BIG THING - why don't some of you OCD folks take up a befitting new profession besides your "Being Negative on Supertopo" job.

AREA MAN BUTTHURT OVER ONLINE PHOTO CRITIQUE

MOAB, UTAH (AP)A local man's feelings were hurt when accusations arose on a popular climbing forum about the quality of some photographs that were taken with his phone.

"I'm just sick of all the negativity on the site," coolrockclimberguy69 was quoted as saying on Wednesday. "I'm seriously thinking about deleting all my posts and leaving with those other ladies."

The accuser, Couchmaster, is also responsible for the outing of many thread-deleters on the site.

Matt Gilchrist could not be reached for comment.

I'd like to see this as an animated xtranormal.com cartoon...

The only time it would bother me is when someone dies climbing and we're all analyzing what went wrong, and the family always finds the thread.

Back to the OP...

Can a bolt of lightning really move tons of rock? I mean, does a plasma stream, moving at nearly the speed of light, possess enough mass and force, not electrical force, mind you, to knock the Cobra down?

I'm not sure lightning can "move" things around. Hollywood images of trees exploding and bodies flying are due to overheated sap and instantaneous muscle contractures, I think

It's a science question

The shock wave from that expanding plasma and heated air sure could.

Thunder could have knocked it down.
