Hi!

It´s going to be my first time on yosemite, and im just looking for a partner that want´s to climb a lot between 08 of august and 02 of September. I have only 1 experience on bigwall climbing (La esfinge A1, 5.10.d) and many multipitch, sport and bouldering.

I would like a lot to try Half Dome, or something of the same level o lower.

If someone knows another person that can be my partner please suggest me.

Puede ser dificil encontrar una compañero en Yosemite si usted no tiene experiencia en este tipo de escalada. Chequa el tablón de anuncios en campo iv para buscar personas para rutas mas cortas (como el cookie cliff) y tambien pasa tiempo en el campo iv, hasta escucha espanol o italiano, puede ser mas facil unir con un grupo de extrañeros ya organizados. Usted no debe ser insultado si nadie quiere subir halfdome con usted el primer dia. He intentado subir el Capitan dos veces con personas que no tenian experiencia con grandes paredes y no fue exitoso, ya sea tiempo, y no lo haría de nuevo. Y tampoco no aviso a usted a tratarlo con una persona que tampoco no tiene esa experiencia. Lo mas importante es aprender como subir la grietas con la minima esfuerza y maxima eficiencia. - DP

I agree....Yosemite can be VERY hot in August....almost unbearable sometimes. And this has been an incredibly hot summer. Maybe start looking for alternative goals in Tuolumne Meadows, which is spectacular. Have a great trip no matter where you end up!
