If I thought I could drag my gimp-ass partner out before daylight for an alpine-style headlamp start, I'd do it. Between his knack for twisting ankles and the possibility that I might not be able to get away from the kids sunday morning (depending on how long grandparents stay after her 2yo saturday birthday party) I may not get to go at all. But if I do, it will be early. 7ish or 8ish, depending.

But hey, if folks would rather argue politics... go for it.

INcidentally, there's a copy of Mr McLane's "Silent Cordilleras" in transit to my front door right now.

INdeed. Though what I'd really like is a copy of his bibliography of caves. Fat chance of that.

Now then... trolling for a belay slave. Willing to reciprocate. Or, you know, if someone wants to get a couple pics of me climbing on the SP that aren't my own selfies or butt shots, that'd be great too. I come to the table bringing no guarantees except... well... no guarantees.

By the way, like the pics and the story Ron.

And Mike, you'd be welcome here any time. I'd even attempt to curb my pessimistic nature a bit to share the stoke you seem to have for climbing. Woodfest is a possibility, though that weekend is tough for me. Time will tell.

Partner,s grandma fell and broke her leg yesterday, and my own mom,s awaiting biopsy results to see if cancer,s back. Between all that and our daughter,s bday party, looks like the only climbing i,l be doing is out of bed to start the busy days this weekend.
