I looked in the search window to see if one had already been done, but didn't see one.
This guy is a photo-pheenom! And not only does he take amazing photographs (as well as sharing his talents with others, and teaming up with other pheenoms), but he climbs. Hard stuff.
I won't post any of his images here, as I'm not sure what's okay, and what's not okay to repost, but dang...he's got an amazing eye for beauty, composition, lighting, and subject matter.
Here's his site: http://www.jerrydodrill.com/index.html
I don't know Jerry, other than through ST and FB, but thanks for bringing us along to some of my all time favorite places!

Yes, Jerry is a great photographer, but he's way more too. He's an up, fun, friendly person, just a pleasure to be around. He's always welcome at our house.

If you get a chance to take a workshop with Dodrill, do it. I took a class from him back in 2008? It was at Sierra Nevada College in Lake Tahoe. I went the first summer it was offered and I'm still thinking back on discussions we had and finding new ways to apply what I learned. (and still using the camera bag I won at a raffle). Will definately go to another when I can. Cheers to Jerry!!!

I appreciate that the one time I met him he had lost one approach shoe somewhere on the Hulk. I did not envy him wearing a flip flop on the way out!

Yeah that Evolution Traverse video was really good.
I never met him in real life, but I benefited from his generosity with beta for Mt Saint Helena and nearby areas. Thanks Jerry!
Plus I remember some funny story in a climbing mag years ago, about an adventure in China and an electrical storm that made them flee.

Not always sure what the proper protocol is on ST for reposting someone else's images, so I won't do so here. However, if you haven't seen his work, most definitely check out his site: http://jerrydodrill.photoshelter.com/#!/index
