What great looking conditions.
To answer Bruce's question earlier in the thread ... the southern Alps average about 6m to 7m of precip a year. The freezing level in winter can come down to sea level and daily variations in temp are quite wide so there tends to be have a good snow/ice building model.
I've climbed in Scotland and it's a totally different climate.
